I've been scanning through the international collections for Spring/Summer 2009 this past few weeks to note down the colors that would be the trend for the new season. From New York to Paris to London to Milan, these colors were scattered all over the runway, and they will be bombarding the racks and hangers of shops and boutiques (and our closets, of course) in a few months time.

Neon colors certainly still have their heydays. Bright and playful, they're the perfect shades for capturing the season's spirits. But worry not, for those who are not very into bright colors, wide variations of nudes and monochrome were spotted in almost every runway – proof that neutrals never goes out of style. And for those who fancy the blings, gold makes the ka-ching this season. Ranging from accessories to clothes, this shiny hue is even spotted on leathers!
