T. Le Clerc Powder
T. LeClerc stands for the owner's name, and how T.LeClerc got started? 1881, Thophile LeClerc kept a pharmacy near the Place de la Madeleine, the focus of luxury and elegance in Paris. He came from a family of painters, and showed a keen interest in color, light and beauty.
In his dispensary, he carried out research on make-up and developed a secret formula for rice powder which gave women an incomparable, velvety complexion.
I've been wearing T.LeClerc's cosmetic range for ages. First my mom bought them for me, and I've changed into other cosmetic brands so many times, yet I found this T.LeClerc's products are the best that suits my sensitive skin.
What I love the most is the color range. They have many ranges of pink, peach, and even purple, lavender, sky blue, khaki, light peach, and other various colors as you can see here, for their powder product range. The powder doesn't make my skin oily or too dry, feel so light on skin, but stay quite long (4-5 hours) to lighten up your look. With various color range, it will easier for you to blend the color that you love. Almost like prescriptives.
I love the casing too. It is so classic and simple. Yet elegant and look a bit industrial. The sizes are just perfect and compact enough as part of travel make up kit. Besides, they also have the feminine metallic pinkish packaing for the powder in travel kit size. Wonderful isn't it?
The last time I review about Bourjois, some Indonesian members (Vilia, Csakura, and Fehuang) told me that Bourjois is available in Indonesia. Supposed this T.LeClerc is also available in Indonesia? Anyone ever use this brand too?

I dont know if it's only me
I dont know if it's only me or I have extremely dry skin on my cheeks, but this T.Le Clerc powder makes my skin even drier. It won't stay or cover my blemish, or maybe the formula doesn't mix with my foundation (fyi I use Make Up Forever, or Etude bb.fit, or MAC select cover concealer depends on my skin condition -sometimes I only use concealer without foundation to cover up my freckles-). Thanks to the cute packaging, or it'd be sucha waste of hard-earned money to buy this powder.
I've tried hundreds types of powder (compact, loose, cake, you name it) from various brands because of my job as a fashion and beauty editor, but the only face powder that does wonder to my skin is Laura Mercier compact powder. It's rather pricey, but gosh, I swear by it! I just need small amount of it to make my skin look flawless. It wont cake, streak, it's like having a magic facial. I wish they have these laura mercier products here in Jakarta, because the nearest place that sell them is Singapore. :p
