Edogin: sushi buffet and Japanese delicacies

This article I am writing has no relation to fashion whatsoever, but I think it's nice to write about a restaurant once in a while.

After all, Hotel Mulia can also be considered a fashionable place, and the sushi here is really yum :)

I had an interview with one of the PR staffs there for this article, it once had to be submitted for a magazine.

At the mention of Japanese food, we will immediately relate to various sushi fusions and fresh sashimi. Business executives can relish delicious rolls over lunch, or enjoy a luxurious dinner at a Japanese bar. Edogin is named after the country Japan during ancient times. This long famous sushi restaurant has sushi, seafood, robatayaki and tempura bars, along with four tatami and two private teppanyaki rooms for gatherings and special occasions. The ambience is dominated by contemporary Japanese interiors, with just a touch of personalized romanticism created by the dim lights.  

Edogin offers an exquisite range of various Japanese food; starting from the traditional soba (Japanese noodle), agemono (deep fried tempura), and robatayaki to modern but uniquely prepared sushi and sashimi sets by master Japanese chefs. For starters, an appetizer of King Crab chawan mushi and salad will be perfect to tickle your taste buds.

If you would love to explore more of trendy Japanese delicacies, try the signature Tiger Rolls with crunchy prawn tempura and Thai spicy sauce. Those who do not have cravings for raw food can explore the teppanyaki dishes, which happen to be the specialties of Edogin Restaurant. Try the gindara teppanyaki sets, salty or sweet, depending on your choice. The salmon teppanyaki is also a definite must try, the rich sauce oozes into the fish without ruining the real taste of the fresh salmon.  
Other sushi highlights include a sushi box set including California Roll (crab stick wrapped in mayonnaise, lettuce, and flying fish roe), Jungle Roll (avocado, asparagus and carrot relished with sesame seed), and Spicy Salmon Roll (leek and chopped salmon). Fish lovers will enjoy freshly prepared grilled eel served with tuna and eel sauce, a lethal combination of Cutter Pillar Sushi to delight your senses. The sashimi dishes will not disappoint either; the rich taste of fresh, selected ingredients mixed with the chef’s individual touch and innovations make them unusually distinctive. Assortments of cakes, ice creams, and sake will then complete your meal.  
The service splendid, the décor cozy and the taste undoubtedly special. Edogin is one of everyone’s favorite Japanese restaurants in Jakarta, and if you spend a few hours there, you will definitely know why.

Dining tips:
Smart casual attire is expected, and reservation is advised. Ala carte is available for dinner, with a rate of Rp. 119 000 ++ for adults and Rp. 89 000 ++ for children. Special promo highlights will be available monthly.
    A special recipe prepared by Edogin Restaurant:
Lay grilled seaweed on bamboo tray, add sushi rice with Thai spicy sauce to cover the seaweed. Add prawn tempura, cucumber, lettuce, and roll the seaweed. Put flying fish roe on top of the rolls, and serve with ginger and wasabi after cutting them into eight smaller pieces.
