The magic of concealer
Concealer has to be one of women's most lethal weapon, well at least for me it is. Imagine waking up with puffy eyes from lack of sleep, dark circles under the eyes and a huge zit popping somewhere unexpected.
A concealer, whether in the form of a stick or liquid will solve the mess.
I've tried a few concealers from time to time, and right now I'm using Revlon'sconcealer: semi liquid, packed inside a tiny box that can last for at least six months, priced at Rp. 56 000,- Others are also available, such as Maybelinne, the Body Shop, L'oreal.. take your pick. It almost requires experiments to find the perfect concealer. Some skins suit simple stick concealers, some others are better off with liquid concealer, which blends better.
Some tips to use concealer:
- Layer the face with moisturizer, and foundation. A few tricks: foundation can also be used as a semi concealer. Use the foundation to cover blemishes, and dab the concealer on top of it to cover it more perfectly. Skin looks as healthy and smooth as ever.
- Dab softly, especially under the eyes. Skin around the eyes is very dry and sensitive, so do not use force to dab your concealer there. Do it slowly and gently, using your ring finger, since it exerts the least force.
- Use eye creams every night because it will restore the moist to the skin after a whole day of using foundation and concealer.
- Use a concealer with one tone brighter than your skin tone. It will blend with the skin nicely and does not create a mask-ey look.
- Don't u
se too much concealer. It creates a cakey look if you do. Just enough to cover blemishes, pimples and dark circles.
- Do not forget to wash your face and clean the excess concealer on the face before going to bed. Let the skin breath :)

So true! I have some blemishes these few days cause lack of sleep which create pimples and so on. However, concealer really help me a lot, and it surely is my lethal weapon.
I've tried the Revlon's concealer (Thx to Fe..mwah!) when I was in Bali. It is ok, but I do prefer the stick one. :P And the best stick concealer that I've ever used is from Bobbi Brown.
And here are some of the list that I could found based on my experiences..:D
Maybelline:
Stick Concealer, but they don't sell it here. Dunno why.
Bobbi Brown:
Liquid, Stick, Creamy, event eye tint and many more. :P So complete.
Stila:
Stick concealer
Revlon:
Liquid Concealer
Bourjois:
Stick Concealer
Paul and Joe:
Stick Concealer
Anna Sui:
Stick Concealer
Paula Dorf:
Stick Concealer
Shiseido:
Stick Concealer
Etude:
Liquid Concealer
Dior:
Liquid Concealer
Estee Lauder:
Liquid and creamy concealer
The Face Shop:
Creamy concealer
MAC:
Stick, Liquid, Creamy Concealer, but I just don't like MAC products. :P Too sticky, too heavy, and somehow just doesn't work well with my skin. Too much of chemical stuff maybe, cause my doctor said my skin works well with natural products, and L'Occitane's products works well with my skin.
Prescriptives:
Cream, Liquid, and liquid brush. Quite good, and the best part is you could blend and create your own color.
Hm....that's all that I could remember I've used. :P Will complete the list later if I remember more. :P
