Gwen Stefani suing Forever 21
Gwen Stefani is suing fashion label Forever 21.
The singer and designer is claiming trademark infringement of her Harajuku fashion range.
Papers filed in the Los Angeles federal court on the 17th July state the company is selling and promoting products which feature a design which is ‘ virtually indistinguishable’ from the brand’s signature heart /box logo.
MSNBC reported that Forever 21 changed a couple of words in the Heart Box trademark which are inconspicuous and likely to go unnoticed by a consumer.
As a result Stefani’s representatives claim that the line has allegedly "suffered and continues to suffer damage to its business reputation."
Oh well, let's see. This Forever 21 will be opening soon in Grand Indonesia, Jakarta, and I predicted they will be so popular and successful in Indonesia. (FFVS/JPUK/EDPO/MT07)
