Kebaya query
Dear Fasity,
I browsed your site and came across the attached picture which is from a book "Chic in Kebaya". I am interested in purchasing the EXACT kebaya baju...not the kain. Could you please advise where/how I can get a hold of this baju? I live in Australia but my friend will be in Jakarta for 4 days next week and I would like for her to purchase the baju for me. Would you have details of the store location? Do you know if the baju can be bought separately and how much it is. I look forward to your response.

Hi Endah,
Your friend could actually find Kebaya in many stores and many different style with different price range. If you like kebaya with full ornament, handmade, and designer products, you coould ask your friend to go to Anne Avantie's Boutique @ Mall Kelapa Gading 3 at The Catwalk Level. You could also find some modern kebaya and traditional kebaya in Ghea Boutique @ Plaza Senayan, or at some dept stores @ some malls @ Jakarta.
If you intend to find a much more simple kebaya and or modern one, mostly they should be made by order. Or your friend could also find them in some traditional market which provide mass kebaya, but the quality will be different from the designer products.

Please bare in mind that Kebaya should be worn properly and fit to your size. So, please give your exact size to your friend before he/she purchase it.

Ah, sorry I got it wrong, I thought you were looking for exact baju kebaya only, not the one on the cover.
