[coming soon] Limited edition Cherry Blossom collections

Coming soon!! Heard news of this one and wanted to try one quite badly, but unfortunately it's not available yet :D

So I'm gonna keep my eyes open for this one.

L'occitane already has a special limited edition of cherry blossom with cherries, sakura and the packaging also resembles this one here. The Body Shop collections will include scent and body butter, body puree, shower gel, and a reed diffuser.

The scents will have notches of Fuji Apple, Chinese Magnolia, and Osmanthus Flower, also with Star Jasmine, Japanese Cherry Blossom and Persimmon and a base of Sandalwood and Hinokiwood. Hmm. Sounds very sweet, eh?

Sayangya, di web tempat saya sourcing artikel ini, ada sebuah argumen mengenai kandungan dalam body puree-nya, berikut ingredients yang ada:

"Water, Alcohol Denat., Glycerin, Butylene Glycol, Sorbitol, Fragrance, Carbomer, Olea Europaea (Olive) Fruit Oil, PPG-15 Stearyl Ether, Hexyl Cinnamal, Sodium Hydroxide, Benzophenone-4, Linalool, Butyl Methoxydibenzoylmethane, Disodium EDTA, Alpha-Isomethyl Ionone, Butylphenyl Methylpropional, t-Butyl Alcohol, Hydroxyisohexyl 3-Cyclohexene Carboxaldehyde, Prunus Serrulata Flower Extract, Citronellol, Hydroxycitronellal, Limonene, Phenoxyethanol, Geraniol, Denatonium Benzoate, Red 33, Yellow 5."

Menurut mereka, kandungan naturalnya sangat minimum sedangkan bahan kimia di dalamnya terlalu banyak. Entah masih kontroversi atau the Body Shop memang sudah 'surrender their soul' seperti kata-kata komentator di sana, mereka berpendapat bahwa akhir-akhir ini produk Body Shop sudah tidak senatural dulu.

Well I guess we should do our research before we really consider something natural.. Padahal saya selalu menganggap produk mereka alami dan sehat.. but is it really true?
