I've always loved, loved, loved trapeze dress. This type of dress is perfect to tone down the body sillhouette but not iding it completely beyond the fabric. The skirt will fall loosely slightly below the thighs and above the knees, creating a swishy skirt effect that makes any woman feel graceful, like a ballerina. At least that's how I always feel when wearing this type of dress.

A cotton or spandex rayon material makes a trapeze dress comfortable for daily, afternoon wear and casual activities. Trapeze dresses made of satin or chiffon can be formal enough for a semi-formal cocktail party. It is also easy to mix and match - wear it with tights and a clutch, paired with platforms.. or wear it as a stand-alone outfit with flat shoes and beady necklace, or pair it with an oversized quilt bag and chunky boots. They look cool either way!

The thing about trapeze dress is, you can experiment with motives and designs, not just with colors. It's really easy to create a new personalized look with just one dress - you can wear a bolero or fitted jacket (plus an obi belt if you're daring enough) with it for office wear, or get wild and wear gladiator sandals with thick wooden bangles to the movies. The trick is to experiment and try to mix and match :) You can achieve various looks with a trapeze dress, from glam and funky to boyish and charming, also feminine and sweet.
